Towing is one of the activities named in the official description. The combination matters more than the length of the trailer: a stable tow vehicle, a hitch that clears, and a route with room to turn.
Connect it
- Decide the load first. Campers, boat trailers, equipment, and car haulers do not want the same path.
- Spawn the tow vehicle and the trailer from the in-game spawner. A customization walkthrough shows the trailer editor as a separate control once you are in a shop bay.
- Line up slowly on level ground. Connect, then make one wide low-speed turn in each direction.
- Stop in a straight line, reverse with small steering inputs, and cross one mild bump. If the trailer hits the tow vehicle or darts at the hitch, fix that before you leave the lot.
- Scout a narrow trail with the tow vehicle alone before you commit the full combination.

Those shop categories can move again. If a named trailer is missing, check both the free spawner and any premium trailer section before assuming it was removed.
On the road
Brake earlier than you would with the truck alone. Leave space around cones, mailboxes, and other players. If the rig sticks, decide whether the truck, the trailer, or the route failed. Changing the route is often faster than adding more lift.
A February 7, 2026 update review showed a semi frame-length control plus a rollback bed and a stinger for attaching another vehicle. Those are recovery tools, not a substitute for a clean hitch lineup. Read vehicle roles when you are still choosing the tow vehicle.
